Met een expertise in gedrukte beelden en een achtergrond in de uitgeverswereld, als lid van de fotografische staf van een grote krant gedurende meer dan 10 jaar, heb ik sinds 2019 mijn professionele emancipatie genomen.
Deze bevredigende en creatieve journalistieke ervaring staat tot uw beschikking.
Nieuwsgierig naar alles, heb ik een voorliefde voor cultuur, onwaarschijnlijke situaties en offbeat humor. Mijn werkterreinen variëren van thematische illustraties tot portretten, maar mijn nieuwsgierigheid overheerst altijd en maakt dat ik voor bijna alles opensta als de sociale dimensie aanwezig is. En dan, als informaticus in een ander leven, reageer ik graag op specifieke verzoeken van mijn klanten voor Wordpress-gebaseerde IT en redactionele opdrachten, zolang er maar wat fotografie bij komt kijken.
Tot slot, als leraar fotografie in een academie, is het met veel plezier dat ik al mijn kennis en ervaring overdraag aan alle jongeren van 12 tot 92 jaar.

In 2013, op een moment dat mijn gezondheid in gevaar was, besefte ik de relevantie van mijn nieuwe fotografische praktijk. Ik plaatste toen mijn gehavende lichaam in relatie tot het fotografische gereedschap om onze kwetsbaarheid te salueren. Dit resulteert in beelden die soms vluchtig zijn en voortkomen uit een poëtische wereld die bestaat uit onwaarschijnlijke momenten in spanning.

Curieux de tout, j'ai un penchant pour la culture, les situations improbables et l'humour décalé.
Mes champs d’activité vont de l’illustration thématique aux portraits mais ma curiosité l'emporte toujours et me rend ouvert à presque tout si la dimension sociale est présente. Et puis, technicien de l'information dans une autre vie, je répond avec plaisir aux demandes spécifiques de mes clients pour des missions IT sous Wordpress et rédactionnelles pour peu qu'il y ait de la photographie associée.
Enfin, professeur de photographie en académie, c'est avec grand plaisir que je transmets l'ensemble de mon savoir et expérience à tous les jeunes de 12 à 92 ans.
Cette transversalité dans toutes ces matières assimilées sont la garantie d'une agilité pour répondre à vos besoins de manière adéquate.
Quant à ma pratique artistique, elle se résume en des métaphores picturales issues de la banalité du quotidien qui aident à survivre avec tendresse.
En 2013 à un moment où ma santé est en danger, je réalise la pertinence de ma nouvelle pratique photographique qui consiste en un dérèglement de l’appareil et le recours à l’accidentel. Je mets alors en relation mon corps malmené à l’outil photographique pour y saluer notre fragilité.
Il s’ensuit des images parfois évanescentes issues d’un monde poétique composé d’instants improbables en tension.
